Unpublished PDFs, Word files, InDesign packages, XML, artwork and client specifications are treated as confidential project materials under the agreed engagement terms.
Before sharing source files
Request an NDA where needed, agree who may access the files, and confirm the transfer method and retention period before any confidential upload or delivery.
Controlled project access
Files are exchanged through a separately agreed secure channel, not the public portfolio website. Access, correction versions and authorized use are defined for each project.
Retention & deletion
Enquiries are stored only when a configured backend confirms receipt; private manuscripts must be transferred through an authenticated project account.
Private client file transfer requires an activated portal account; the public enquiry form never accepts manuscript attachments. Please avoid putting confidential manuscript content in public enquiry text.

What should I share before production starts?
The source document, an approved sample EPUB or CSS, expected output format, navigation rules, accessibility requirements, page count and turnaround expectations.
Can you help with existing EPUB corrections?
Yes. Share the current EPUB and a defect list, reference PDF or approved sample. Scope can cover XHTML/CSS, navigation, figures, links, metadata and quality review.
What is included in a quality report?
Reports can include content and link findings, structural checks, issues and resolutions, validator outputs and delivery notes, depending on your agreed scope.
Can I request Accessible EPUB or MathML EPUB?
Yes. These services are available for scoped production work. Reading-system compatibility, EPUBCheck, DAISY ACE and accessibility acceptance criteria are agreed per project.
Can you process a batch of 100 titles?
Multi-title requirements can be assessed and quoted after reviewing the source complexity, sample standards, target EPUB formats, validation scope and feasible capacity. No volume or turnaround guarantee is implied.
How are confidential books handled?
We agree authorized access, NDA needs, secure transfer, retention and deletion arrangements before source files are shared. The public website does not accept manuscripts or store project data.
Can we request a small paid pilot?
Yes. Send specifications for a small representative sample and agree price, deliverables, revision scope and acceptance criteria before work starts.
How are delivery schedules and revisions managed?
Schedules are agreed after source review. Issues, correction requests and revalidation are recorded within the agreed revision process.
